1. Determine your body measurements
Take your measurements. They’re the key to good fit and style. Hold the measuring tape firm but not tight. Circle your body measurements on the chart where they apply. This will give you your clothing size.
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust keeping the tape level.
Waist: Place the tape around your natural waist where it’s most comfortable.
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hip, approximately 8 inches below the waist, keeping the tape level. Look from the side to help determine your fullest part.
Inseam: Measure between the legs to the bottom of the anklebone,
or take one of your favorite pants and measure from crotch to hem.
2. Determine your size
Depending on fabric and style we offer double or single sizes. Ulla Popken garments with the perfect amount of ease according to style and size; sizing up is not necessary. Most items are sold separately to make it easy to find the exact fit from top to bottom.
3. Graded by Length
Some of our tops are graded by length. The 12/14 is shortest in length and the 36/38 is the longest. A range o8 lengths is listed for each graded item.
Differently proportioned women have added fullness in different places that affects how a top drapes, how it falls – how long it appears. Length is affected for some women by extra fullness at the back, midriff, hips, tummy or posterior, while others have theirs in the bust.
